Gentian: The Noble Bitterness

The yellow gentian root is the bitter botanical of the Alps — distilled for centuries, today the heart of our Solstice Gin.

An alpine bitter root with history

Yellow gentian grows on alpine meadows and its root takes years before it can be harvested. Across the Alps it has been distilled into spirits and bitter liqueurs for centuries — its earthy, clean bitterness is considered the noblest of all. Exactly that depth is what we bring into the still.

Gentian in Solstice Gin

In Solstice the gentian bitterness meets the soft Valais wine base — tension and elegance in the same glass. That makes it the ideal gin for Negroni and Martini: its bitterness complements Campari and vermouth instead of competing with them.
