Gin Tasting at the Source

A tasting in a tasting room is good. One next to the still, botanicals in hand and the distillers at the table, is better — welcome to Raron.

How a tasting with us works

You taste Rarner, Hiemalis and Solstice neat and in tonic, smell the raw botanicals — from larch wood to gentian root — and learn why we distil on Valais wine. Included are the stories no label carries: from failed trial batches to the harvest in the apricot orchards.

For groups and occasions

We host tastings for groups — from circles of friends to club outings to company events, with Valais raclette on request. Requests go via the tastings page; if you cannot wait that long, bring the tasting home: all three gins in the online shop.
